• Your stay at “Under Canvas” in Livingston will be truly unique as you will be staying in a safari-inspired tented camp. Each tented camp has a private bath that features eco-conscious amenities such pull-chain showers with hot water, sinks that automatically shut off, and low-flow flush toilets. To allow guests to disconnect and feel truly immersed in nature, and to minimize the use of precious resources, there is not electricity nor outlets in the tents. However, there are battery-powered fans and lanterns with USB plugs so you can charge at least two cell phones. Temperatures vary greatly in this region and each tent is equipped with a wood-burning stove for additional heat (instructions of use will be provided upon arrival and assistance is available if needed). • This vacation visits national parks and other remote locations where some facilities may not meet the first-class standard you expect from Globus. Some lodges within the parks do not feature televisions and other routinely expected amenities.• Routing and areas visited within Yellowstone National Park are subject to favorable weather and/or road conditions. When conditions are unfavorable, the routing may be adjusted accordingly. Order of sightseeing is subject to change. • Big Sky chair lift opens in mid-June; other optional excursions are available throughout the season, weather permitting.• Maximum elevation on tour: 9,033 ft (2,753 m).

Day 1
ARRIVE IN BOZEMAN, MONTANA Your Small Group Discovery Tour begins! At 6 pm, join your travel companions for a welcome drink. Your Tour Director will prepare you for your upcoming adventure. Day 2
BOZEMAN–LIVINGSTON Tents and Tyrannosaurus Rex Visit the Museum of the Rockies for world-famous dinosaur fossils, historic Montana pioneer and exploration days plus see a Living History Farm depicting life in the 1900s. Travel from the forested Gallitin Valley to open plains surrounded by mountain ranges and converging rivers in the remarkable Paradise Valley. Make camp for the next two nights and enjoy safari-inspired canvas tents while “glamping” in scenic rural Montana. Enjoy dinner at the riverfront with locally sourced meat and seafood, fresh salads, and later, spend time stargazing with s’mores by the crackling campfire. LIVINGSTON. YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK Riverside Sojourn Spend the morning at leisure. Relax at the resort and appreciate Paradise Valley, walk by the Yellowstone River, rest in a riverside hammock, or consider hiking or exploring the river on a scenic float trip. This afternoon, join your Tour Director on a journey south for a memorable experience to [LF] Lamar Valley, tucked into the northeastern corner of Yellowstone National Park. The wide, open landscape is known for stunning scenery and exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities. (B)TOUR HIGHLIGHTWESTERN TRADITION Located at the “Big Bend” in the Yellowstone River, Livingston was the original gateway city to Yellowstone Park with a train depot, saloons, hotels, and stunning scenery. Now the live music, local breweries, farm-to-table restaurants, and modern saloons keep the local ranchers and visitors entertained in an Old West style. LOCAL FAVORITE WILD AND WONDERFUL Yellowstone’s Lamar Valley carves a vast U-shaped valley from millions of years of glaciers during the last ice age. Often referred to as “America’s Serengeti,” the valley offers the chance to see bison roaming the grasslands, pronghorn grazing in the distance, and, with a bit of luck, wolves or bears moving across the hills. The Lamar River winds gently through the valley, adding to the sense of calm and natural beauty.

LIVINGSTON–YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK America’s First National Park Using the original entrance to Yellowstone, the iconic Roosevelt Arch greets your entry to America’s First National Park. Visit Mammoth Hot Springs in the northern part of the park, where heat, water, limestone, and rock fractures have created a unique terrace feature and learn about the famous hot springs and park’s thermal features. Continue to the [LF] Yellowstone Tribal Heritage Center, where local artists display and demonstrate nature photography, beadwork, storytelling, watercolor painting and more. Explore on your own with the remainder of the day at leisure in the park. (B,L)LOCAL FAVORITESMALL GROUP EXCLUSIVE Local Indigenous artists, scholars, and members of the 27 associated tribes of Yellowstone National Park engage and educate visitors about the cultural heritage and historical connections with the park land at the Yellowstone Tribal Heritage Center. Part of the Yellowstone Forever Institute, it provides an ongoing Native presence in the park for visitors to also showcase the handiwork of tribal artists and encourage cross-cultural exchange.

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK Animals and Geysers After breakfast, enjoy a guided walking tour of the Upper Geyser Basin. Travel through the park today with stops to see the Lower Geyser Basin’s famous Fountain Paint Pots—named for the reds, yellows, and browns of the mud and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone for the thundering Lower Falls, which are nearly twice the height of Niagara (weather permitting). (B,D) TOUR HIGHLIGHTNATURAL WONDERS Experience the beauty of Yellowstone with a guided walking tour of the Upper Geyser Basin. The greatest geothermal basin on Earth, this region also features the extraordinary sights of world-famous Old Faithful, which erupts with regularity throughout the day, as well as other less predictable geysers, including Castle, Daisy, Riverside and Grand Geysers.

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK–WEST YELLOWSTONE–BIG SKY The Peak of Perfection Wake up this morning to the fresh, crisp air of Yellowstone and visit Grand Prismatic Spring. Depart Yellowstone National Park for the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone for an immersive experience enroute to Big Sky, Montana. With Yellowstone in the rear-view mirror, the world-famous Rocky Mountain Spanish Peaks greet you with the golden hour in Big Sky. (B)TOUR HIGHLIGHTNATURAL WONDERS Tucked in the Gallatin River Canyon, near historic Bozeman and the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park, Big Sky is surrounded by dramatic Rocky Mountain scenery, expansive wilderness, and year-round amenities and trails for hiking, skiing, and horseback riding. BIG SKY–GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK–JACKSON, WY Highway to Heaven Journey over the Teton Pass for stunning views of the Grand Teton Mountains, Jackson Lake, Jenny Lake, and the Chapel of Transfiguration en route to Jackson. Marvel at the spectacular Wyoming scenery on a Teton Village tram ride. Tonight, celebrate your adventure with a festive farewell dinner. (B,D)TOUR HIGHLIGHTHISTORIC SPOT The small log cabin-style Chapel of Transfiguration in Grand Teton National Park was built in 1925 with local logs and labor, still hosts regular services and is on the National Register of Historic Places. An aspen stump serves as the pulpit and a glass picture window behind the altar provides a spectacular, memorable mountain view.
