Andy Obot is the owner of Dove Travel & Cruises International and has worked as a travel agent in Nashville, Tennessee since he opened the agency in June 1994. For more than 30 years he has planned cruises, all-inclusive vacations, honeymoons, guided tours, destination weddings and international flights for individuals, families and groups across Middle Tennessee and the country.
Andy built the agency on a simple idea: a traveler should have one person to call. He still works with clients directly from the office on Donelson Pike, comparing options across cruise lines, resorts and the leading tour operators the agency represents, including Globus, Trafalgar, Viking and others. When plans occasionally change mid-trip, his clients call him, not a call center.
Under his ownership the agency has been a Better Business Bureau (BBB) accredited business since 1996 with an A+ rating. Dove Travel is a member of the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) and Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), is accredited by IATA and ARC, and is a Certified Sandals Specialist. Nashville media, including NewsChannel 5, have turned to Dove Travel for a local travel agent's perspective.
