Our Best of Egypt tour was a true delight, full of new experiences. The initial visits to the Valley of the Kings and Luxor gave us an entree into the excavations that we had only read about before. The cruise down the Nile gave us a glimpse of Egyptian flora and fauna as well as an opportunity to mingle with other travelers. Later, a side trip to Abu Simbel, a World Heritage site, and Giza served as the finale to our trip. We were surprised by the ease of travel, with helpful guides and security as we navigated through a new country.
