Within its walls are Place d’Armes, Laval Seminary, and ancient Place Royale. Also, ride the funicular and see the old-world houses crowding the narrow streets in Lower Town by the St. Lawrence River and historic Plains of Abraham. Visit a locally owned [LF] Sugar Shack for a traditional sugar shack lunch including live musical entertainment. Explore the unique copper creations at the Albert Gilles Copper Art Studio and Museum. Continue to the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre Shrine to see one of his greatest works of art, the hand-made copper main doors of the Basilica. Continue to Montmorency Falls Park for stunning views of a natural waterfall, the tallest in Quebec and 30 m taller than Niagara Falls (weather permitting).
